Dr. Erik Modlo, hailing from Kalamazoo, Michigan, and raised amidst Erie, Pennsylvania's breathtaking landscapes, discovered his passion for healthcare early on. With unwavering dedication, he pursued his medical education at NEOMED graduating in 2003, fueled by a prestigious Navy scholarship.

His tenure in the Navy, spanning from 2003 to 2011, was a pinnacle of enrichment. As Lieutenant Commander, he provided compassionate care to military personnel and their families, including two overseas deployments. But disillusioned by the healthcare system's focus on quantity over quality, he sought a paradigm shift.
